Wow. So, my about me has said "I am me." since I created this journal at the urging of a high school friend. This was actually my third one, after LiveJournal took down my first 2. I can't remember the user names, but I'm sure that they were something angsty and nerdalicious. I created this journal in December of 2003, and I am updating my Bio for the first time since then.
My name is Adam. I am 21 year old man who, after a year of freedom, once again lives with his parents, who charge him considerably less rent and feed him once in a while. So, it works out better for him. I work for a national(US) retailer who treats me relatively well, paying me only slightly less than I'm worth for the relentless torture.
I'm originally from England. Dudley, for those interested in a city. It's a "Metropolitan Borough". It has a population of about 300,000 people. It has a castle. That's right people, I grew up, in the shadow of a castle. *Thumbsup* It's actually a run-down, shithole of a town, where the streets are full of litter and the people can barely be said to speak English. That's not to say that some great people don't come from there. I came from there, and I'm pretty great. Just saying.
I currently live in Oregon, where the weather doesn't know if it's coming or going. I moved here in 2001 from California. I prefer Oregon, because California weather just doesn't suit me. Unfortunately, I had to sacrifice my first girlfriend and my absolute BEST FRIEND(Same Person) in order to move here. I miss her. A lot. I get to visit her once in a while though, and I hear that her boyfriend right now is an alright guy, so I'm happy.
As for my time in Oregon, I attended High School here and have only a handful of things to show for it. A lifetime reminder that I could always have done better. But I have some good friends out of the deal, so really, it's all good. In fact, chances are if you're reading this, you're one of those friends, and I just want to say to you, THANK YOU.
As for the rest of you, I know this doesn't really cover much, but combined with my interests list, and my brief narcissistic bio, I hope that you have an adequate picture of me in mind, because I'm more than most expect. I mean come on now. Do I sound like the 'romantic-brit-com' type? Nope? So surely, I'm the one trying to take over the world. :D
